Founder Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before submitting your pitch deck or purchasing any reports through the Morpheus Founder Service. By completing a submission and/or making a payment, you are confirming that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not proceed with your submission.

These Terms apply to founders and entrepreneurs using the Morpheus Founder Service only. If you are a fund or investment firm, please contact us at hello@usemorpheus.ai for the applicable terms.

1. Who We Are

Morpheus AI ('Morpheus', 'we', 'us', 'our') is a company registered in the United Kingdom at Arquen House, 4-6 Spicer Street, St Albans, AL3 4PQ. You can reach us at hello@usemorpheus.ai.

These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your use of the Morpheus Founder Service - the service through which founders can submit their pitch deck and receive AI-generated fund assessment reports. The service is accessible via our website at usemorpheus.ai or through a direct submission link. By paying for and submitting to the service, you confirm you have read and agreed to these Terms.

These Terms apply only to founders using the Morpheus Founder Service. If you are a fund or investment firm, separate terms apply.

2. What the Service Is

The Morpheus Founder Service allows founders to submit their pitch deck for AI-generated assessment. At the point of submission, you will choose one of the following options:

General Report: An assessment of your deck based on a general venture capital framework. This report is free of charge.

Fund-Specific Reports: An assessment of your deck against the investment thesis and criteria of one or more specific funds, using Morpheus's AI model for that fund. Each report costs £5 per fund selected. You will select your chosen funds during the submission form. If the fund you want is not listed, you can request it via the 'Other' field and we will create a model for that fund.

Both: You receive a General Report and one or more Fund-Specific Reports.

All reports are generated using the Morpheus platform and delivered to you by email within 48 hours of payment and submission.

If we are unable to create a model for a fund you have requested, we will contact you to offer an alternative fund selection at no extra charge. No cash refund will be issued in this circumstance.

3. Payment and Purchase

Fund-Specific Reports are priced at £5 per fund. The General Report is free. Payment is taken at the point of submission via Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and other major debit and credit cards.

Payment must be completed before your submission is processed. If payment is not received, your deck will not be assessed and no report will be generated.

All payments are in GBP. Prices may change in the future, but any change will not affect purchases already made.

Refunds: All purchases are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. If we are unable to fulfil your order - for example, if we cannot generate a report for a fund you selected - we will offer an alternative fund selection at no charge rather than a cash refund. If you have any concerns about your purchase, please contact us at hello@usemorpheus.ai.

4. What the Report Is and Isn't

What you're getting

Each report is an AI-generated assessment of your pitch deck, produced by the Morpheus platform.

Fund-Specific Reports are based on Morpheus's model of a particular fund's investment thesis and criteria. They reflect how that fund's priorities and preferences are represented within Morpheus - they are not produced by, endorsed by, or shared with the fund itself unless you separately opt in to deck submission (covered in section 5).

What it isn't:

Reports produced by the Morpheus Founder Service are not investment advice. They do not constitute a recommendation to change your business, strategy, or fundraising approach, and should not be treated as such. Morpheus is an AI platform, not a regulated financial adviser.

Fund-Specific Reports are not a guarantee - or even an indication - that the fund in question has seen your deck, is aware of your company, or has any interest in investing. Purchasing a report does not constitute a pitch to any fund.

The accuracy of any report depends in part on the quality and completeness of the deck you submit. We do not warrant that any report will be free from errors or that it will reflect the actual views of any real fund or investor.

5. Your Deck and Your Data

Submission and storage

When you submit your pitch deck through the Morpheus Founder Service, it is stored securely by Morpheus and used to generate your report(s). By submitting your deck, you give us permission to process and store it for this purpose.

Submitting your deck to funds

During the submission form, you will have the option to submit your deck directly to one or more funds. This is separate from purchasing a report and is your choice to make. If you opt in, the following applies depending on whether that fund is already using Morpheus:

In neither case do we guarantee that the fund will review your deck, respond to you, or take any further action. Submitting your deck to a fund is not a guarantee of engagement.

What we won't do

We will not share your deck with any fund you have not explicitly selected during submission. We will not use your deck to train AI models or share it with third parties outside of the fulfilment of your order.

Data retention

We will retain your deck and associated submission data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

Your deck

You retain full ownership of your pitch deck and any materials you submit through the Morpheus Founder Service. By submitting your deck, you grant Morpheus a limited licence to process and store it solely for the purpose of generating your report(s) and, where you have explicitly opted in, submitting it to your selected funds. We claim no ownership over your deck or its contents.

Our reports

The reports generated by Morpheus are the intellectual property of Morpheus AI. You may use your report for your own personal and business purposes - for example, to inform how you develop your pitch - but you may not resell, republish, or distribute it without our prior written consent.

Our platform

All content, software, and AI models that make up the Morpheus platform - including the fund digital twins used to generate your report - remain the sole property of Morpheus AI. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights over our platform or its underlying technology.

7. Acceptable Use

By using the Morpheus Founder Service, you agree that:

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any submission that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise fraudulent or abusive.

8. Disclaimer and Limitations of Liability

AI-generated content

All reports produced by the Morpheus Founder Service are generated by artificial intelligence. They are provided for informational purposes only. Morpheus makes no warranty that any report will be accurate, complete, or reflective of the actual views of any fund or investor. You use the reports at your own discretion and risk.

Not investment advice

Nothing produced by the Morpheus Founder Service constitutes investment advice, financial advice, or a recommendation of any kind. Morpheus AI is not a regulated financial adviser. You should not make material decisions about your business or fundraising strategy based solely on a Morpheus report.

No guarantee of fund engagement

Purchasing a report or submitting your deck does not guarantee that any fund will view, respond to, or engage with your company in any way. We make no representations about the likelihood of any fund taking action as a result of your submission.

Our liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Morpheus AI will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from your use of the Morpheus Founder Service - including any loss arising from a fund's failure to respond, or from decisions you make based on a report.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant report.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law. If we fail to deliver your report within the stated timeframe without a reasonable explanation, you may be entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you believe this applies to your situation, please contact us at hello@usemorpheus.ai in the first instance.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from your use of the Morpheus Founder Service will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you have a complaint or concern, please contact us at hello@usemorpheus.ai in the first instance. We will always try to resolve issues directly and informally before any formal process becomes necessary.
